Psychology club, or "psych" club as it is commonly known on campus, is a club committed to promoting knowledge and the appreciation of psychology to students through an assortment of social and educational activities. The club was established as a forum for all those interested in psychology. Anyone with an interest in psychology (major or not) is encouraged to attend club meetings and become an active member. Psi Chi is the National Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate students who are making the study of psychology one of their major interests, and who meet the minimum qualifications: Registration for a major or minor in psychology Completion of 3 semesters of the college course Completion of 9 semester hours of psychology courses A minimum GPA of 3.0 in both psychology classes and in cumulative grades Psychology Club
