Postcards from AntarcticaThe accompanying pictures were sent from Antarctica by Associate Professor of Earth Science Thomas Fleming. Fleming was part of a dream team of almost 30 leading geologists from around the globe who took part in the expedition. Among his colleagues was Jennifer Cooper, who graduated from Southern in 2003 with a degree in earth science and is currently a graduate student at the University of Missouri.
