1992--Started a "Special Interest Group" for Special Education Teachers of the Arts (university professors and school practitioners) that meets at CEC Conventions. I also write a special interest group newsletter, "Learning Through the Arts."
RECENT GRANTS RECEIVED:
1995-97--Member of National Art Education Association (NAEA) Task Force on Student Learning in and Through the Arts. Task Force is part of NAEA's research agenda, "Towards the 21st Century."
1994--Received Dean's three-credit grant to survey art teachers in Connecticut to determine their special education information needs.
