STUDENT INVOLVEMENT/COLLABORATION IN MY RESEARCH:
Bulgarian Summer Experience (1994)--Spent approximately one month in Sophia and the mountain resort of Borewitz, Bulgaria, leading a team of graduate students, serving as consultants for the privatization of the tourist industry.
MBA Association--Started the MBA Association which combined the old Graduate Alumni Association (UT) with the newly formed MBA student association. The student membership drive in Fall 1992 produced 1500% growth in student memberships over 1991. Among other things, the mid-evening "MBA Coffee Break" was introduced to foster interaction among commuting students. Served as Advisor (and Board Member) of the Association, which grew continuously between 1992 and 1995.
Graduate Advisement--Participated in the advisement process, 1992-95.
Graduate Registration--Participated in registration, 1992-95.
Undergraduate Advisement--Served as an advisor for several undergraduate students, 1992. Continued involvement in undergraduate department activities for improving the advisement of majors, 1993-95.
Honors Enrichment Tutorials--Served as mentor and tutor for an honors student during Spring 1994.
