RESEARCH INTERESTS IN GENERAL:

Sculpture and Drawing

CURRENT/FUTURE SPECIFIC RESEARCH PROJECTS:

Opposition, conflict, and the sublime:  metaphor in the sculptural landscape.  The focus of this research includes travel to Arizona, California, and Hawaii, and the creation of work that is focused on the contrast of volcanic structures.  This body o work will continue to explore landmasses that are forged by activity beneath the surface (internal) compared to those that are formed above (external).  I see this as a metaphor for the human condition reflecting the internal and external landscape of our lives.
