Faculty & Staff

Faculty listed are full-time professors located in Office Building 1 (OB 1) near the corner of Wintergreen and Farnham, next to Granoff Hall Medical Building. Faculty are assigned to student advisement as an important aspect of completing degree requirements. The department secretary is available in support of faculty and students as necessary. Students are encouraged to be actively involved with their assigned faculty member so that planning courses, selecting electives, and identifying appropriate internship experiences will enable them to complete their education in a timely and efficient manner, while being adequately prepared to begin a career in their chosen area of the recreation and leisure profession.

In addition to the full-time faculty, the department utilizes seasoned adjunct faculty, professionals in the field, who teach a variety of courses adding to the richness of course content contributing their broad practical, field-related experiences.
