Faculty & Staff

students walking on campusAll faculty listed are full-time professors. Faculty are assigned to student advisement as an important aspect of completing degree requirements. The department secretary is available in support of faculty and students as necessary. Students are encouraged to be actively involved with their assigned faculty member so that planning courses, selecting electives, and identifying appropriate internship experiences are done with the idea that students will be able to complete their education in a timely and efficient manner, while being adequately prepared to begin a career in recreation and leisure.

In addition to the full-time faculty, the department utilizes adjunct faculty--professionals in the field--to teach a variety of courses.
