Housing During Summer Sessions A, B, and C

Students who are registered for summer courses at Southern Connecticut State University may apply to live on campus during the specific session(s) they are registered for. Summer Conference Groups

Throughout the summer, Southern Connecticut State University features a vibrant campus life as the university hosts various non-profit and educationally-oriented groups. Many of these groups choose the convenience and affordability of the Office of Residence Life's housing accommodations. Please visit our Summer Conferencing webpage for information about the available facilities and to apply for summer conference spaces.

New Student/Parent Orientation

Throughout the month of June, Southern welcomes its next class of students through a number of New Student Orientation sessions. New students are encouraged to spend the night in our West Campus Residence Complex to get a sense of on-campus living. Recognizing that many students and their parents may also be traveling to the summer orientation sessions, the Office of Residence Life also offers accommodations for Parents and Families. For more information about Parent and Family Orientation and to request accommodations, please visit the Parent/Family Orientation webpage.
