how to apply for housing

Thank you for your interest in on-campus housing at

Southern Connecticut State University.

To apply for on-campus housing please complete the following:

For incoming freshmen and transfer students:

The housing application is located in  the "Next Steps Checklist" on your BannerWeb account. Your admissions acceptance letter will contain your user ID and password which will allow you to access your mySCSU and the BannerWeb.  Once you have been accepted to the University and have paid the $200.00 admission's deposit you will than have the option to accept or decline on-campus housing. If you accept on-campus housing please follow the prompts to pay the $250.00 non-refundable housing deposit. Upon completion of the housing deposit you will then follow the prompts to fill out the housing application. Housing assignments and roommate information will be available at new student orientation.

For current or graduate students:

The housing application is now located in the "student" section of your BannerWeb account. You must complete the $250.00 housing deposit prior to completing the on-campus housing application. Housing assignments and roommate information will be sent to you in the early summer.
