featuringThe Poverty Simulation and Financial Literacy Workshop

A pizza lunch will be served between 12:30 and 1:00
Poverty Simulation:A role-playing activity that allows participants to experience what it's like to try and obtain food, clothing and other basic necessities as one of the 378,000 Connecticut residents living at or below the poverty level today.
Financial Literacy Workshop: A program on financial literacy for social workers, offered by New Life Corporation.
Students will receive field internship hours, on a one-to-one basis, for participation in this program.
