Tk20
The MSW program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). CSWE has identified assessment of student competencies as a primary departmental activity in their Educational Policies and Accreditation Standards (EPAS). Tk20 is the online assessment and reporting software program used by the Social Work department to assess these competencies. Many student assignments, as well as the Field Evaluation forms, will be submitted into Tk20.
All students are required to purchase a Tk20 account. The one-time cost for activating the account is $103 if purchased online or $120 if purchased from the SCSU bookstore (financial aid can be used to cover the cost if purchased from the bookstore). You will have access to this account for ten years.
