Mission Statement

To promote excellence in the scholarly endeavors, research, programs, and service activities of faculty, staff and students and to enhance the educational mission of the institution by:

• Providing resources and training to prospective Grantees and assist them in finding funders, producing quality proposals, and submitting them on a timely basis with appropriate approvals and formatting.

• Securing funding for institutional initiatives through the submission of professionally researched, developed and written proposals to appropriate public, government, and private funding sources.

• Developing and fostering positive relationships with funding sources that will increase the likelihood of receiving grant awards.

• Protecting the University's interests through grant management activities in the pre and post award areas that ensure management support of proposed activities and successful fiscal and programmatic performance of awards.
