Cross-endorsement certification is negotiated between the graduate student and the Connecticut State Department of Education. A program for K-12 teaching certification can be combined with a Master of Science program in special education.

All graduate students seeking admission to a Special Education or Reading program must apply to the School of Graduate Studies and contact the department secretaries to obtain information about additional department requirements.
