Priority Registration
Each semester there is a special early registration period for matriculated students who were registered for the previous semester. The priority week is determined by the total number of credits earned. Take advantage of your priority week! The Registrar's Office will send you your priority week registration information via your Southern email account. If you have any questions regarding your priority week, contact the Registrar's Office in the Wintergreen building.
Undergraduate Catalog
The Undergraduate Catalog contains important information that is useful to students. Please familiarize yourself with the catalog. The undergraduate university catalog can be found here.
Major Area of Study
We encourage you to begin to explore a major area of study as soon as possible. You are not limited to any major and may change your major at any time. However, do not adopt the narrow perspective of only focusing on the university's "general requirements." If this is done for the first three to four semesters, you will find yourself with only major area courses and a few electives that need to be taken. Many major course areas need prerequisites, or only a selected few of the courses may be offered during a particular semester. This situation could postpone your graduation.
