Drug & Alcohol Resource Center Home
Our Mission
The mission of the Drug and Alcohol Resource Center (DARC) is to provide SCSU students, staff, and faculty with current information and resources on alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. The resource center also provides confidential screening and assessments to students in addition to harm-reduction skill-based programs such as BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students). DARC also offers SCSU students online self-assessments called the E-TOKE and the E-CHUG.
DARC provides educational literature, brochures, and pamphlets on substance abuse
and related topics. The center contains up-to-date educational materials and resource
books for students to browse or borrow. The center is an excellent resource to be
used for personal and academic use.
