Men’s Group: Men in the Media 
Date: Wednesday, November 6th
Time: 1pm – 2pm

During this session of Men’s Group we will discuss the impact of mediated images on our view of manhood. We will discuss what stereotypical types of men repeatedly appear and the impacts we believe they have on masculinity. We will also explore our views on whether these stereotypes are positive or negative and why. We welcome you to join us for this discussion.

Men's Group: Bystander Intervention

This session of Men’s Group is dedicated to discussing the importance of bystander intervention. We will explore the need for the development of community responsibility and what that means for us. We will also discuss what means of intervention are needed as well as how to make sure we are safe during any intervention.

House of Numbers Film Screening (Part 1)

House of Numbers is a documentary that unconvers the mystery surrounding HIV/AIDS. Filmmaker Brent Leung embarks on a global mission to discover why HIV/AIDS is still as much a mystery as it was when it first made headlines in the early '80s. Leung speaks with survivors, activists, Nobel laureates, presidential advisers, the executive director of UNAIDS, and even the two researchers credited with discovering HIV.
