Do I need to audition or apply to be a theatre major?

No, any undergraduate can declare himself or herself to be a theatre major. 

Do I need to be a theatre major to be in a show?

No, auditions are open to all students. Some productions are limited to full-time undergraduates.

Is there a theatre minor?

Yes, please meet with a theatre faculty advisor to design a custom 18-credit course plan for a theatre minor.

Can I do a double major with theatre and something else?

Yes, theatre majors often double in art, communications, music, English, etc.

Do I need prior experience to work on a crew?

No, faculty and experienced students will teach you anything you need to know. The only requirements are enthusiasm and curiosity.
