Southern Connecticut State University's Women's Center and Men's Initiative offer a variety programs and events. Through our outreach efforts we aim to empower and educate the campus and local community on gender issues. Program topics offered include sexual violence, domestic violence, healthy relationships, perceptions of masculinity and bystander interventions.

The center maintains a resource room with information on sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, healthy relationships, sexual harassment, stalking, body image, eating disorders, and women's health.
