Southern Connecticut State University is a member of the Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium (CTDLC), through which web-based tutorials are offered to Southern's undergraduate students.
Students may submit drafts of papers for review and comments from an e-tutor with an expected turn-around time of 24 to 48 hours.
As with face-to-face tutorials, e-tutors will not edit or proofread drafts. Rather, they will respond to specific questions asked by the student writer. Students who submit drafts must therefore be prepared to identify their chief concerns, and they must expect to take charge of their own revisions.
The standards that apply to face-to-face tutorials apply also to online tutorials, including the appropriate identification of source material.
Students may access this service here: < www.eTutoring.org >. From the eTutoring home page, select "Northeast eTutoring Consortium." Then from the dropdown box, select "Southern Connecticut State University" and follow the directions on the login page.
