Grading Policy
MAT 103 - Math for Liberal Arts

There will be 700 points of possible credit in this class.

There will be two midterm exams during the semester which will be worth 100 points each.

There will be a comprehensive final exam worth 200 points.

A substantial term project on any of the mathematical topics we have covered (or another mathematical topic of the student's choice) will be worth 100 points. When appropriate, these may be group projects.

There will be 6 quizzes during the course of the semester which will be worth 100 points in total. (The lowest quiz score will be dropped.)

You will need to keep a homework portfolio which I will check on a regular basis. Material added to the portfolio after the due date will be counted, but only for half-credit. Homework will be worth 100 points.
