- Begin by opening up Word.

- Now you are starting with a blank page. Write out the text that you want for that page.

- Go to file, new and create each additional page that you will need for your website.

- For each page go up to the file menu, click save as, and for save as type choose web page.
- Click the dropdown box where it says save in:, and click on the drive that has your username (should be the U:).
- Then double click the www folder and save your page. All of your saved pages should go in here.

- Now on your homepage, below your text, write the three links that you want to use.
- Highlight the first link, right click on the mouse and choose hyperlink.

- Navigate to where you saved your files and choose the which page it needs to link to.

- Save the main page (and make sure all other pages are saved).
- The URL for your website is http://home.southernct.edu/~(yourusername goes here)/(name of your page).htm . For example if your username is smithj1 and your webpage is called tagore.htm then the URL would be http://home.southernct.edu/~smithj1/tagore.htm.
