CIVIL RIGHTS
     

    You are an American leader of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's. You and the members of your group believe that the Civil Rights struggles had the greatest impact on the 1960's and in the years that followed.

    Your tasks will be to:

               Research and organize biographical information about your person.

               Decide which events or life experience caused your person to become a leader in the
               Civil Rights movement.

               Research and gather examples of writings, speeches or actions by your person that
               influenced the course of the movement.

    Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, H. Rap Brown, Angela Davis, Julian Bond, Lyndon Johnson, James Meredith, Cesar Chevez
