Academic and Research Interests
Early in my academic career, my academic and research focus was on the electroacoustical
properties of hearing aids and their relationship to speech
intelligibility. For the past
15 years, my teaching and research has focused on the assessment and
management of auditory processing disorders in children. As part of this
research, I have investigated various electrophysiologic measurement
techniques with this population. Through my research, I have
demonstrated the clinical utility of electrophysiology in the
assessment of individuals with auditory processing disorders.
