• Putnam Exam Seminars at SCSU
SCSU’s
Math Department will be offering seminars for the William Lowell Putnam Exam
Fridays from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in EN D122.
Students planning to participate in the William Lowell Putnam Exam should contact Dr.
Ross Gingrich or Dr. Joe Fields
for further information. The first
Putnam Exam Seminar is scheduled for: Friday, September 11, 2009 1:00-3:00 p.m. EN D122 • Math Internships
Southern
students interested in participating in a math internship should contact Dr.

Sponsor social
activities each semester, such as picnics, field trips, etc. ·
Work hands-on with
Mathematics via projects, discussion, etc. We are always open to new ideas and suggestions! The Math Club:

students interested in Mathematics to promote an active mathematical dialogue
on the Southern campus ·
Helps broaden your
awareness of Mathematics and its applications in today's world ·

careers in Mathematics and related areas ·
