MAT 530 Projects

Due dates:

Tuesday, April 20^th, 4:45 P.M. - web address where the project will be posted.

Tuesday, May 4^th, 4:45 P.M. - final project should be posted online.

List of Projects:

1. Legendre
2. Lambert
3. Farkas Bolyai
4. Janos Bolyai
5. Lobachevsky

Remarks:

1. The project should be in the form of an html file posted online. The main file should be named mat530project.html. FTP your project into the www folder of your Southern account
2. Each project should contain information about the life, contributions to mathematics in general, and contributions to geometry of the specific mathematician.
3. Bring 7 hardcopies of the project to be distributed in class when you present. (you don’t have to print the links you might have from your main file.)
