2.4 miles - up Chalybes - combined times June 14, 2003 |
|
Web guy missed the annual Team Race.
It
looks like it was exciting, though, with New Milford
High School star Nate Beatty clobbering his old coach, Mike Abraham, denying Abe
his chance to win only his second race of the season.
This was the annual Combined Time race. They chose up three-person teams (last year, they were four-person teams), and winning teams were determined by adding up the times. You can check their addition with the data below.
Pictures
Pictures today show Carl Myhill chatting after last week's race with Charlie Euston and Bob Satterlee. On the right is Mario Hasz finishing. Farther down, Sharon and Shiloh finishing a few weeks ago. This week, Sharon ran but Shiloh was sick. Even farther down is Lou Denaro, taken on a day when people might have needed sunglasses, not a dreary day like today.
The Roxbury Races are now listed on the Internet both on RunningInTheUSA and on HiTekRacing.com
