Long-Term Study Abroad (1-2 Semesters)

Study Abroad Deadlines Fall March 30th, Spring October 30th

Santiago SCSU girls

We invite you to engage in the challenges and rewards of long-term study abroad!  There are countless programs in which you can participate: some in English, some in the language (or languages) of the host country, and some combined. You may even qualify for full financial aid.

Your first step is to attend one of our weekly informational sessions, dates and times for which are posted on this site and in our office, Engleman A-220.  Once we have received a signed approval form from your academic adviser (which you will receive at the information session), you can contact our office to schedule an appointment to work with one of our coordinators

And don't worry,  we'll ensure that the courses you take abroad will transfer to Southern!

Our office is devoted to helping you become a global citizen, and we warmly welcome your participation in a long-term education abroad program.

We recommend that you begin to work with us six months to a year before you plan to travel.

You can contact our office to schedule an appointment, or just join us at an info session. However you get in touch, we look forward to helping you plan your exciting odyssey abroad!
