Accelerated MBA Program

This all-inclusive, fast-track, hybrid style MBA option combines quality, convenience, and affordability for the region’s working professionals.

An accelerated MBA program which can be completed in eighteen (18) months.

The all-inclusive program costs include tuition, books, materials, breakfast and lunch for the in-class Saturday sessions.

The fast-track 18 month program bypasses a traditional semester structure. Each cohort (program set) comprises of nine sessions with each session lasting eight weeks, with a one week break between each session. During each eight-week session, students will complete two courses for six (6) credits, for a full-time course load of 12 credits per semester.

Classes are in hybrid format; the coursework is online with four Saturday in-class meetings per session. The last eight-week session will be devoted to the completion of MBA 595 (Special Project).  

Prospective students will meet the same standards for admission as in the traditional MBA program.

Q: How is the accelerated MBA program different from the regular program?

A: The accelerated program is a full time hybrid (online and on ground classes) program that meets on weekends and lasts 18 months. 

Q: What is the structure of the program? 

A: This program does not follow the traditional Fall/Spring semester framework of the typical academic year. Instead, there will be 9 sessions; each session will last 8 weeks with a short break in between each session. Students will earn 6 credits during each session towards the 51 credit program. The ninth and final session will be devoted to the completion of the special project (MBA 595). 

 Q: What will be the class format?

 A: Classes are provided in a hybrid format, both on ground and online. Classes meet on ground every other week during each eight (8) week session: Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.

 Q: What are the qualifications for admission?

A: Same as the traditional MBA but restricted to domestic students; no international students.  To be admitted into the program, students should have graduated with a 3.0 GPA or better from an accredited undergraduate institution, submit Official transcripts of all colleges previously attended; provide a current resume; write and submit a 500 word personal statement on why s/he wants to pursue the MBA and submit two letters of reference attesting to leadership potential, ability to work independently and as part of a team. In addition, because of the intense nature of the program, applicants must demonstrate that they are capable of meeting short deadlines.

Q: Who will teach the classes?

A: Classes will be taught by the same excellent full time faculty who teach in the traditional MBA program.

Q: I am an international student, can I apply?           

A: No, due to visa restrictions international students cannot be admitted to the Accelerated Program. International students are encouraged to apply to the Traditional MBA Program.
