5:00pm-7:30pm
Engleman Hall Rm. A120
501 Crescent St.
New Haven, CT 06515

"Social Justice for All: A Forum on Gender and Sexuality Diversity/Equality in Connecticut," is geared for election season, engaging the Southern community and Connecticut candidates running for federal offices on the topic of social justice from the gender and sexuality lens. All political candidates running for Congressional offices in the state of Connecticut are being invited to attend and participate in the panel; an updated list of panelists will appear here shortly.

The goal is to openly and honestly discuss the climate of sexual and gender diversity/equality in Connecticut and how each Connecticut Congressional representative, as a Connecticut candidate and community leader will address these issues during their term of service. A question and answer session will follow.

As a leading public higher education institution, SCSU is deeply committed to serving and engaging people of all gender, sexuality and cultural expressions. Four years ago, we hosted a very productive political forum engaging the candidates then running for Congress on gender equality.  We look forward to hearing from you regarding your attendance and participation and hope to have you at the forum.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us.
