Our NCATE accredited School of Education offers more than 30 degree programs that serve over 2,000 full-time and part-time students at the undergraduate, master's, sixth year, and doctoral levels of study.
The School of Education prepares the largest number of education graduates for teaching positions in the state of Connecticut. Through its nationally accredited programs, the School of Education also prepares students for careers in athletic training, educational leadership and policy studies, human performance, information and library science, school and community counseling, and school psychology.
The School of Education is fortunate to have over 60 tenure-track faculty members dedicated to providing high-quality educational experiences through classroom, hybrid, and online courses. Professors in the School of Education epitomize the teacher-scholar model, engaging in cutting edge research, writing articles, books, and book chapters, and presenting their work at national and international conferences.
