Parents & Release of Information
Parents and other third parties can utilize many of the Bill + Payment Suite features as "authorized users" on a student's account, such as automated billing email notifications and access to online payment options. Becoming an authorized user will also be necessary to discuss any information with the Bursar's Office, due to privacy laws, about a student's account. Please see the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act Notification for more information.
ADD AN AUTHORIZED USER
Students must log into Bill+Payment Suite - Banner Web - Student Services - Click View eBill or Make Payment x 2 and add the authorized user to the account. The authorized user will receive an email shortly providing log in instructions and an initial password.
Prior to the release of any information to students or authorized users, the Bursar’s Office does require the student id and date of birth to verify identity, or acceptable photo identification. Email responses will only be sent to the student Owls email account or an authorized users email account on file.
