2017 Program Highlights

A group of students and faculty

Our 2017 program welcomed 10 first-time researchers from 7 universities in 3 states. In addition to participating in a wide variety of research projects, they became trained in lab and field safety and science communication skills, performed a group project to understand the effect of nanoparticles in preventing chrysanthemum disease, and got career advice from industry, diagnostic, and regulatory plant health professionals. A few highlights and the final presentations are posted below.
