Becoming a University Police Officer

police officer stopping a carThe first step in becoming a university police officer is to contact the University Personnel Office and request a "PLD-1," which is an application for state service. The form can also be downloaded from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services Web site at www.das.state.ct.us/ along with any additional information. Testing and scheduling is administered through the Department of Administrative Services, which can also be contacted at (860) 713-5204 with any additional questions.
