Due to the impending snowstorm, the university closed at 11 a.m. Monday (Jan. 26)
for students, faculty and non-essential staff. All classes scheduled to start after
11 a.m. Monday are canceled. While the residence halls will remain open with limited
services, residential students are strongly advised to return home Monday if they
are safely able to do so. With blizzard-like conditions expected as the storm intensifies
late Monday through Tuesday, movement around campus to Connecticut Hall and other
locations will be difficult. The university will remain closed Tuesday during the
height of the storm. Wednesday's status will be announced once the extent of the cleanup
after the storm is known.
The Art Department offers a program of graduate study leading to the Master of Science
degree in Art Education (minimum 36 credits), and a non-degree program for K-12 certification
(minimum 39 credits).
