Research interests
Dr. Weng’s research interests include wartime childhood memories in post-Franco Spanish literature and cinema, focusing on the relationship between constructions of children and projects of nation. She also explores Sino-Hispanic communications, with a special interest in stories of transcultural transmission, transformation and imagination. She is currently working on her book manuscript on “Franco’s children” in contemporary Spain.
