Hilton C. Buley Library is a five-floor facility that serves the academic and research needs of the Southern community. Here you’ll find quiet rooms available for individual or group study and more than a dozen Reference Librarians who specialize in one or more areas of study (they are available by appointment for class instruction or private consultations).
The library maintains more than 100 databases and electronic collections. It houses more than half a million items including books, serials and serial back files, microforms, maps, government documents, rare books, video media, and more. The library is home to two computer labs, the Learning Resources Center, Information Technology offices, the Department of Information and Library Science, and one library instruction classroom.
Within the library is Owls Perch, which serves Starbucks coffee, wraps, and other on-the-go items.
