The Intermediate Administrator (092) Post-Master's Certificate is a hybrid, 21-credit program designed for educational professionals who aspire to leadership roles in Connecticut's public school system. Offered through the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, this certificate program is available exclusively to students concurrently enrolled in Educational Leadership, Ed.D.

Upon successful completion of the required coursework and administrative internship, along with a qualifying score on the Connecticut Administrator Test (Test 6412, ETS School Leadership Series), graduates are eligible to apply for the Intermediate Administrator (092) certification through the Connecticut State Department of Education.

Admissions Requirements

To be considered for admission to the 092 Certificate program, applicants must:

  • Hold a Master’s degree
  • Possess a Connecticut state educator certification
  • Have completed at least 30 months of service under their educator certificate
  • Be admitted to the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program in Educational Leadership at Southern
