Students who did not borrow the annual maximum loan amount for their grade level during fall 2021 and spring 2022 may apply the remaining balance of their loan towards the summer semester. Also, students who received a Pell Grant for the 2021-2022 year may be eligible to receive an additional Pell Grant disbursement in summer. Students also have the option of applying for private alternative educational loans or Direct PLUS loans. Students who wish to be awarded before registration can file an SCSU Summer Financial Aid Application to indicate how many credits they plan on taking. Please note that students pursuing a Direct PLUS loan or private alternative educational loan are required to submit a Summer Aid Application.
