Summer Tuition and Aid

If you're planning to take summer classes at SCSU, you'll need to pay for tuition and fees. You can pay when you register, or you can sign up for a payment plan with no interest from March to June. If you're already enrolled in a degree program at Southern, taking at least half-time classes, and you filled out the FAFSA for the 2024-2025 academic year, you'll automatically be considered for financial aid for the summer. If you still have money left over from loans or are eligible for more Pell Grants, you can use that to help cover your summer expenses. If you need more financial aid, you can apply for private educational loans or Direct PLUS loans using the Summer Financial Aid Application. So, if you're worried about the cost, there are options to make summer courses more affordable for you.
