The SCSU Honors College strives to offer our incoming transfer students the best. The Honors College will work with you to make your transition to SCSU as easy and seamless as possible. We provide personalized advising tailored to meet your needs as a transfer student.
The Honors College focuses on polishing the skills you already have and preparing you for your future. Learn from our passionate and dedicated faculty and prepare yourself for the job market or graduate/professional schools. We have faculty who specialize in your area of interest, and we have Honors College student groups that gather to hone important professional skills.
As an Honors College student, you will be part of a community of creative, inquisitive, and critical thinkers who support each other in the classroom, in on-campus clubs and activities, and at events throughout the state. All transfer students accepted into the SCSU Honors College are guaranteed generous support during their undergraduate studies.

Current SCSU Students: If you are already enrolled at SCSU and are interested in joining the SCSU Honors College, please email honorscollege@southernct.edu. We will put you on our waitlist/internal transfer list and notify you as soon as we have an opening for you in our Honors College. No application needed from you at this time. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop into the Honors College main office (BU 442).
