The minor in Astronomy provides students with a core education in modern principles of astronomy and analytic and observational techniques. Each student builds on that base of knowledge with the selection of two electives. The minor serves the interest of any student studying science, mathematics, computer science, chemistry, earth science, and more who wishes to better understand the universe as a whole.
