The four-course, 12-credit, Communication Disorders in Multilingual Children - Certificate complements the Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences, M.S., and enables speech-language pathologists (SLPs) to better serve the growing population of English Learners in CT and nationally. This program provides graduate students with additional training in evidence-based practices for multilingual children. Instruction and supervised clinical experiences focus on assessing and treating developmental communication disorders in multilingual populations across early intervention and school settings.
