Students currently attending other institutions as math and science majors (or even general/liberal studies majors with an interest in math and science!) are especially encouraged to transfer to Southern and apply for our Noyce teaching scholarship!
In order to provide you with more information about the types of courses you might take at your current institution, and facilitate the ease of your transfer to Southern, we have developed several sample transfer "maps". These "maps" are meant to illustrate pathways that would enable you to complete an Associate's degree (if you are attending a Community College), and immediately begin training in the teacher certification program upon entering Southern. The transfer maps below were developed in partnership with Gateway Community College.
