The Bachelor of Arts degree in art history requires 33 credits of study.

It provides a foundation in art history enabling students to seek careers in many art-related fields, or to apply for advanced study in the history of art.

Art History majors must complete ART 104, ART 105, ART 392, ART 492, and twenty-one additional credits in Art History at the 300-level or above.

Also required are HIS 100-101, six credits in one foreign language at the 200 level, three credits in the studio arts, and nine credits in the Humanities elected with the advice of the department.

Students must complete a total of 122 credits to receive the B.A. degree.
