Southern is a medium-sized university in New Haven, Connecticut – a coastal city about two hours northeast of New York City and two-and-a-half hours southwest of Boston, Massachusetts. Quick and convenient public transportation is available for travel to both metropolitan centers. New Haven provides easy access to the scenic Connecticut shoreline, as well as the picturesque towns and villages of Connecticut’s Northeast corner, the Berkshires in Massachusetts, and many more lovely New England settings. Southern is an ideal location to host international students from all over the world.
