Within the program a matriculated student progresses in two areas.
1. Passing 60 credits of coursework consistent with COAMFTE accreditation and the licensure regulations for the State of Connecticut. These courses provide a thorough understanding of marriage and family therapy principles and practice.
2. Acquiring at least 500 hours of client contact hours (direct client care) in a combination of two settings: in the Family Clinic (housed within program) and in an offsite clinical internship placement. Students also receive group and individual supervision consistent with state of Connecticut and COAMFTE guidelines.
