This interdisciplinary program focuses on preparing students for managerial roles and gender issues related to obtaining and holding leadership positions. Students may build a self-relevant program from a menu of relevant social-psychology, sociology, gender, and management offerings that emphasize theoretical and experiential coursework.
A certificate in Women’s Leadership equips graduates with skills in leadership, communication, advocacy, and organizational change through a gender equity lens. Graduates can pursue careers in business, nonprofit management, education, government, and human resources. This certificate enhances a graduate’s ability to lead inclusive teams, navigate workplace dynamics, and promote equity in professional settings. It pairs well with majors in business, political science, social work, or communications and provides a strong foundation for roles that value ethical leadership and social impact.
