Campus Governance

President

The President provides leadership in carrying out the campus educational mission. The President is advised by the President’s Leadership Team.

Provost

The Provost is the Chief Academic Officer. The Provost is assisted by the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Associate Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Outreach. She is advised by the Provost’s Council, which includes Deans who meet regularly to review and develop guidelines and processes and to monitor progress related to student retention, student success, and the development of new academic initiatives.

Academic Deans

Academic departments are organized into five schools and colleges, each with its own Dean and Associate Dean: College of Arts & Sciences; College of Education; College of Health & Human Services; School of Business; and School of Graduate and Professional Studies.

Academic Deans report directly to the Provost. The Dean of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies closely coordinates with the graduate program coordinators.
