Counseling Program Outcomes 2022-2023
Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program
From Fall to Summer 2023, there were 16 graduates of SCSU's Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s program. This graduating class had an 75.18% completion rate. Our graduates consistently achieved high pass rates on comprehensive examinations and licensing examinations. The pass rate for graduates taking the comprehensive exams was 100%; and, according to our exit interview data, pass rates on the national licensure examinations (NCE and NCMHCE) for this cohort was 100%. At follow-up in Fall 2023, 100% of students were employed within the field.
School Counseling Program
From Fall to Spring 2023, there were 9 graduates of SCSU's School Counseling Master’s program. This graduating class had an 82.05% completion rate. Our graduates consistently achieved high pass rates on comprehensive examinations and obtained certification. The pass rate for graduates taking the comprehensive exams was 100%. At program completion, 100% were employed within the school counseling field.
