The Werth Family Foundation sponsored Industry Academic Fellowship (IAF) program at the CSCU-CNT provides undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to conduct team-based interdisciplinary research. During the course of this eight-week summer program, IAF students will conduct research in collaboration with educators and industry professionals, while exploring the business-related aspects of technology. Students will work part-time on their projects during the Spring and Fall semesters. Research teams will be working on nanotechnology and sustainability projects.
Students will participate in weekly business-related workshops, led by faculty from the SCSU School of Business. Students will learn about topics such as intellectual property, marketing, and patents. Students will gain knowledge of the technical aspects of industry related research as well as the business aspects.

Eligibility
This program is open to SCSU and Connecticut Community College science students. Minorities, women, and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. Only complete applications will be considered.
