Industry Academic Fellowship Program

The Werth Family Foundation Endowed Nanotechnology IAF program within the CSCU-CNT provides undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to conduct team-based interdisciplinary industry motivated research addressing sustainability challenges using nano and quantum technologies.

Werth IAF Summer Fellows participate in an 8-week full time program where they conduct research in collaboration with educators and industry professionals, while exploring the business-related aspects of science and technology. Werth IAF Fellows are also provided the opportunity to work part-time on their projects during the Spring and Fall semesters.

Fellows participate in weekly business-related workshops, offered via a partnership with the SCSU School of Business.  Workshop topics include intellectual property, marketing, and patents. Students will gain knowledge of the technical aspects of industry related research as well as the business aspects.
