Going to college can be both exciting and stressful. Facing new academic challenges, building connections, and navigating an unfamiliar process can be difficult. The office of Orientation, Transition and Family Engagement supports students through this journey in host of ways. Beginning with orientation, we provide opportunities for first-year students (freshmen), transfer students and parents/families to learn about valuable resources, connect with their peers, and prepare for success. The process of transition continues well beyond orientation! As part of the Southern Success Center which includes the First-Year Experience program, Career and Professional Development , Academic Success Center, and Academic Advising we work collaboratively to provide a holistic approach to student success.
