A UAP Advocate takes an interest in and works to develop the entire student, from their academics, personal, family, social, financial, and career development. The frequency of meetings, relationships formed, skill in communicating with our students who often share intersecting identities, and resourcefulness of the advocate contribute to the scope of this role in student success. We advocate for you, offer you guidance and support that is holistic. We get to know you, connect you to the best resources to thrive in college and achieve your goals. We facilitate connections to your advisor in your major, campus opportunities, and self-advocacy for lifelong success. Your Advocate will be in consistent contact with you.
